Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor is a 5.5-kilometre long dual three-lane carriageway of which the Hong Kong section is 3.5-kilometre and the Shenzhen section is 2.0-kilometre. The whole Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor spanning across Deep Bay, the Hong Kong section links up the northern end of Deep Bay Link at Ngau Hom Shek with Dongjiaotou in the Mainland.

The project includes :-

1.

Construction of a 3.5-kilometre dual three-lane carriageway spanning across Deep Bay from Ngau Hom Shek in the north west part of the New Territories of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to the HKSAR's boundary of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor;
2.
Construction of a 340-metre dual three-lane carriageway of the Deep Bay Link connecting to the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor at Ngau Hom Shek;
3.
Construction of a traffic control surveillance system;
4.
Associated civil, structural, electrical and mechanical, marine, geotechnical, water works, fire services, environmental mitigation measures, street lighting, traffic aids and directional signs;
5.
Enhancement dredging at the water channels connecting Deep Bay and Gei Wai Nos. 16 & 17 in Mai Po;
6.
Provision of lane change-over facilities to accomodate the different traffic configurations in Hong Kong and the Mainland.

Operation of a 3.5-kilometre dual three-lane carriageway spanning across Deep Bay from Ngau Hom Shek in the north west part of the New Territories of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to the HKSAR's boundary of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor;
2.
Operation of a 340-metre dual three-lane carriageway of the Deep Bay Link connecting to the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor at Ngau Hom Shek; and
3.
Operation of a 2.0-kilometre dual 3-lane carriageway elevated structure of the Shenzhen Bay Bridge spanning across Deep Bay from Shenzhen Bay Bridge-Hong Kong section to Shenzhen Bay Port, Hong Kong Port Area at Dongjiaotou.
